Our Crowdfunding Groups
Listen to the beat of the drums! EGO (Berkeley's Traditional Korean Percussion Group) is a welcoming club for all students to express themselves through the art of music. As members of the club, we seek to provide a safe environment for anyone who wishes to join us. At the end of every semester, our club prepares a showcase in honor of our members' hard work and dedication as an opportunity to present their skills. EGO is home to a diverse group of students who are currently seeking community and financial support. Our club creates profit to sustain itself through performances; however, we have not been able to accept any requests for public safety. We want to maintain EGO's strength and be able to provide the best experience for our students as best we can.

Our club has been going strong for over 20 years, passing on the sounds of Korean drumming. However, through this long, some of the pieces have also been lost. For this reason, EGO is asking for financial support to offer our members coaching from instructors to retrieve those pieces and enforce our legacy.
EGO is turning 21!
Budget and Fundraising Goal: $2,500
Coaches/Instructors:
We want to be able to provide our members with coaching from experienced people to improve our drumming skills and revive our lost songs.
Traveling:
Our traveling expenses to performances are not always covered and it is difficult to find fitting transportation. With the funds raised, we hope to alleviate this financial burden.
Equipment:
Our constant practicing wears our drums down! Our club would use the funds to purchase new drums and other equipment needed.
Marketing:
We are trying to make ourselves more visible to the public through marketing. EGO does not want to go unnoticed and through marketing, we plan to reach people who are interested in joining us to play!
