Your donation is an inaugural Executive Fellowship for future Executive MBA students, helping Haas attract top talent into our program and strengthening our Haas Alumni Network as we welcome increasingly dynamic professionals from a diversity of fields, backgrounds and experiences.

Q: How will my gift make an impact?
A: Being the trendsetters that we are, we’re raising money focused on supporting future EMBA students and have created a new EMBA fellowship fund called The EMBA Beyond Yourself Fellowship. This fund will support the needs of future students and help Haas attract top talent who will eventually joining us in the Haas Alumni Network.
Q: Are we setting a philanthropy precedent with our EMBA '16 goal?
A: Yes, we are raising the bar with our goal. No class has ever had 100 percent of the class join the Haas Leadership Society!
Q: What is the Haas Leadership Society (HLS) and at what level do I need to donate to participate?
A: Being a member of the Haas Leadership Society takes commitment, but the rewards are pretty great too. Your annual membership gives you exclusive access to events with faculty stars and industry leaders, as well as an insider's connection to the school. The donation level for EMBA students is $500 and for alumni it's $1,500. Here are some of the many benefits to joining the Haas Leadership Society:
Q: Can I donate anonymously?
A: Yes, when you make your gift online just make sure to check the anonymous button.
Q: Can I donate a set amount, but make multiple payments?
A: Yes, you can make your gift here. It will allow you to select your donation payment plan. You can give monthly, quarterly, or annually. Your full gift amount will count towards our EMBA '16 Class Gift. These recurring gifts will not be reflected on the crowdfunding site right away, we'll need a little bit of time to upload them.
Q: Is my gift tax deductible?
A: Yes! All donations to Berkeley-Haas are tax deductible, UC Berkeley is a 501(c)3 organization.
Q: My company offers a matching gift program, how can I leverage this?
A: Wonderful, this is a great way to increase your gift's impact! Please look into your company's policy on how to participate in their program. You will be recognized for the matching gift from your company, but only the portion you gave is tax deductible. Rest assured the matching gift from your company will go to the same fund you supported.
Q: How do my employers donate?
A: You will need to contact your HR department to learn about your company's specific matching gift program. Usually companies will want a copy of your gift receipt as well as Berkeley-Haas' tax id number (94-6090626). Every company allocates out their gifts via their own timeline thus we don't know for certain when your company's match will arrive, but rest assured, it will go directly to the same fund you supported.
Q: I would like to make a gift via check, how can I do that?
A: Please make your check out to Haas School of Business. It can be mailed to P.O. Box 774 Berkeley, CA 94701-0774. On the memo line, please write "The EMBA Beyond Yourself Fellowship" this will ensure your donation is directed to your class gift
