UC Berkeley Crowdfunding

Dear friends of the UC Berkeley Chamber Chorus,

Thank you for your support during this busy month! It all wraps up this Friday and Saturday at 8pm with our final concerts of the school year with the UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra for Mahler’s Symphony No. 3! This will feature our treble (soprano/alto) members, SFEMS Youth Choir, and our mezzo-soprano soloist, Shauna Fallihee!

We are also in the final month of our fundraiser to support the choral prgoram, including financial aid for our once-in-a-lifetime tour to China this summer. 

We are excited to announce that we have reached over $5000! Your support will help us get closer to our final goal!

Please join us at Hertz Hall on May 8 and May 9 to hear beautiful harmonies and adventurous programming and to send our singers off in style. Your contribution to the chorus can help make these experiences accessible to all.

Choral Program Crowdfunding

Dear Friends of Chamber Chorus,

Thank you for your continued support! We are delighted to announce that both of our Verdi Requiem concerts this past weekend were nearly sold out! Both the choruses and orchestra had a wonderful time performing, and we aim to bring more productions like these to the community in the future.

In addition to special concerts like these, we hope to provide our members an unparalleled experience with our summer tour. For some, it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to strengthen their bonds with fellow singers and the community on a global stage. It is also our first international choral festival participation in many years!

Our next member spotlight is Viola Frank, one of our altos  in the choir.

We've reached over $4000 in our fundraising this past month. Your support directly impacts our musicians in the choral program, removing financial barriers for participation in these special performance opportunities.

Choral Program Crowdfunding

Dear Friends of Chamber Chorus,

Thank you for supporting the start of our crowdfunding campaign. Please enjoy a video update from one of our altos, Anna Hiskey!

Every $500 we raise funds one member's financial aid for the tour. With $10000, we hope to support our 20 student aid funds.

In two weeks, the choral program is performing Verdi’s Messa da Requiem, featuring the UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra! Both Chamber Chorus and University Chorus will participate in this concert. We are also looking forward to our spring choral concert on April 25, joined by Golden Bear Voices.
