Cal Women's Club Lacrosse

NEW STRETCH GOAL $7,000

The Cal Women's Club Lacrosse team offers our players the chance to play the sport we love at a competitive level against other California club lacrosse teams. We are a student created and student run team with a passion for the game. We would like to raise money for the club in order to allow us to attend tournaments, travel for games, pay our incredible coaching staff, team building and bonding activities, and help us build and grow the team further.

Our team was founded in 2008 as a Division II club lacrosse team. After just our second year, we won the WWLL Division II Championship and WDIA Division II Championship in California. We have since moved up to the Division I level, where we compete against other California club programs, including Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, University of Southern California, University of California, Santa Barbara, San Diego State University, St. Mary’s University, and more. Our team for the fall is currently 30 members, of different grade levels and fields of study accross campus. We are an incredibly academic and athletic group of women, and lacrosse has helped us play the game we love, and make friends for life, while continuing to learn teamwork and leadership skills. Together, we hope to allow more women to have the opportunity to play an incredible sport, develop leadership and teamwork skills, and overall create a community at strong and tight knit Cal.

$2,000 miscelaneous team funds
