Now more than ever, the Greater Good Science Center wants to share its resources for compassion, connection, and resilience as widely as possible. And we can't do that without your help: Our work relies on the generosity of donors like you.
And this year, your generosity will go twice as far: Every donation we receive as part of this crowdfunding campaign will be doubled!
If you've enjoyed our articles, podcast, or online course, we invite you to join us on a major new initiative: Producing innovative videos that make the science of happiness fun, practical, and actionable—and delivered right to your smartphone or social media feed.
Our phones are often sources of anxiety, confronting us with upsetting news or mindless scrolling. The GGSC wants to produce an antidote: A series of positive, science-based videos that will be optimized for viewing on-the-go, on your phone. They'll deliver a quick, engaging dose of well-being, sharing the kinds of practical tips you've enjoyed from Greater Good magazine or the Science of Happiness course or podcast--but with a new visual flair and engaging how-to illustrations.
And you have a special opportunity to bring these videos to life. From now through the end of this year, every dollar you give to the GGSC will be doubled. Gifts of any size, up to a total of $234,000, will be matched 1-to-1 by the John Templeton Foundation, so your generosity will have twice the impact!
Donors will get an early look at some of the GGSC videos we create for this project.
