WHO WE ARE:

OSKI LIST:
The typical UC Berkeley student struggles with high costs of living, increased tuition, as well as food and textbook expenses. Our group of UC Berkeley students is working to create a platform to help students find and advertise as tutors. Our solution, Oski List, is a structured platform for Berkeley students to exchange tutoring services. The current Facebook platform, is filled with clutter which leads to lost opportunity.This semester our team brainstormed revenue possibilities, created a web design, and created a list of desired features. Together Oski List, strives to ensure that untapped opportunities and potential income do not go unrealized.
We are currently marketing our platform to students across the UC Berkeley campus, by reaching out to different organizations and tutors. There are many tutoring opportunities that go unnoticed, and by reaching out to a broad range of Berkeley students we hope to increase the amount of connections out there. In order to effectively reach the audience we would like we will need funding for marketing via flyers, advertisements, etc. Without your donations our project will remain stagnant and will not be able to reach the potential it could have.

COMPETITION:
In addition to creating businesses, another integral aspect of the club is that of the competition. Every year our chapter at UC Berkeley puts together a competition team and works to compete in the national competition. The competition consists of Enactus teams from around the country presenting their work from the previous year in front of a panel of judges that grade based off the presentation, content, and project work. For our team this entails months of preparation, involving organizing a presentation and perfecting the speaking parts. The national competition takes place in Kansas City this year, and the cost of traveling and staying there for three nights adds up. In order for our team to compete in this competition and share our work with other schools we will need a significant amount of funding to cover flight and hotel expenses; without donations, funding will need to come out of the pocket of the members traveling, or we may not even attend the competition at all. Attending the national conference in Kansas City will allow our entrepreneurs to share their hard work and commitment to solving current social issues on a national stage. Your gift can ensure that they have the means to get there.
