Core Contribution

Every contribution helps us toward our goal and no amount is too small. The funding raised for this initiative will directly support History students focused on gender-based research.

$100

Undergraduate Research Funding

Offset travel costs for an Undergraduate Major traveling within California. History majors who are researching their theses' topics are encouraged to travel to archives outside of the Bay Area area when relevant. Donor funds are critical to this kind of opportunity for individualized research.

$250

Guest Speaker Honoraria

Honoraria for a guest speaker who will be scheduled to speak in 2019-20 and whose research focuses on issues of gender.

$500

Undergraduate Travel Grant

Undergraduate travel grant funds to support travel outside of California.

$1,000

Undergraduate Travel Grant +

Undergraduates occasionally travel outside the U.S. to find archives and gather research material for their planned History thesis. See examples of where our students travel here: https://history.berkeley.edu/undergraduate/student-research/undergraduate-research-reflections

$3,500

Graduate Research Funding

Summer funding to support one graduate student whose research focuses on issues of gender.
