We are very thankful for all of the support and generous donations you have given us throughout the entirety of the campaign. We were able to raise a whopping $2,460 dollars! We hope to put on a phenomenal, survivor-inclusive conference in March of next year that brings the Bay Area together to discuss ways in which we can engage with the structures and hierarchies that make communities susceptible to human trafficking. None of this would be possible without your contributions and efforts!
The fight against human trafficking is a team effort - and we are very thankful that you decided to join us!
We appreciate each and everyone of you and this is not the end of our communications! We will be keeping in touch leading up to the conference, so keep an eye on your inbox for an invitation to Freedom in Action 2020. The conference will take place on March 1st, 2020 in West Pauley Ballroom at The University of California, Berkeley. We can't wait to see you there! In the meantime, please visit our website (which we continue to update) and feel free to send us an email at ucb.freedominaction@gmail.com.
Here's to teamwork!
Sincerely,
The FIA Team
We are very grateful for all of the support and donations that we have received! Today is the last opportunity to make a donation and help us reach our goal of $3,000. If you would like to help foster a discussion on the structural vulnerabilities that make communities susceptible to trafficking and raise awareness on the issue of human trafficking in the Bay Area, please consider making a donation or sharing our page with family and friends. Thank you for the continued support!
Thank you to all of the donors who have helped us reach our original goal of $1,000! We are now striving to reach a stretch goal of $3,000 in order to include survivor perspectives in our conference. This additional money will go towards travel expenses and speaker fees for the survivors who will be coming to share their lived experiences with us. Please continue to share our crowdfunding campaign with your family and friends so we can achieve this new goal!
Our Anti-Trafficking Coalition at Berkeley team has begun planning our fourth biennial Freedom in Action Conference for 2020! We look forward to support from our community and need your help to reach our goal of $1,000 so that we can bring a structurally conscious dialogue of human trafficking to the Bay Area.
Daily thank you shout-out on our Anti-Trafficking Coalition at Berkeley Facebook page
