With your help, we are one step closer to finishing Excalibur. We want to thank you for your support throughout the past years of CalSol! The production of Excalibur is coming to an end. We are expecting Excalibur to start running within a few months and have it test drive through California. Excalibur is anticipated to be the fastest and the most efficient vehicle that CalSol has manufactured with its carbon fiber monocoque chassis and low coefficient of drag. Thank you so much to all of our donors for your contribution to the future of our students and the future of solar vehicles! We are so grateful for every contribution-- this is the most donors we have ever had. We hope you will keep track of our process as we work through the process of design and fabrication. As you know, our vehicles are fully student-designed and student-built, and your contribution will allow for our next car to be even more competitive by saving our students time spent on manual labor that can be spent on optimization and practice using real-world industry engineering skills.

We plan to use the funds raised to partly fund the molds and materials we will use to shape the aerodynamic shell of our tenth-generation vehicle! Your donation will allow us to fund better surface finish, improving our competitive performance, and propel us forward into our new vehicle.
