Thank you so much for your support in the past. We are immensely grateful to have reached 200% of our goal! With the funds raised, we were able to allow every member who wanted to compete a chance of participation and afford hotels and ground transportation during our competitions. All thanks to you guys, we earned 2nd place at our very first post-COVID competition at DU!

Hello!

Cal Figure Skating's Crowdfunding Campaign is officially over and thanks to you, we managed to raise over $6,500, reaching 130% of our original goal and even exceeding our stretch goal! For those of you who will be receiving perks, those will be sent out within the next couple of weeks.

We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you- skating is an expensive sport and your contributions will help make skating more accessible to our members and to the Cal community. As we mentioned in our previous update, our competition team became Pacific Coast Champions this past weekend, qualifying for Nationals which will be taking place in Minneapolis, MN at the end of March. Your donations will help subsidize hotel and travel costs for our skaters, and we are so excited for the opportunity to represent Cal on the national level!

Hi Everyone!

First off, thank you so much for donating- we have reached our initial goal of $5,000! We truly appreciate each and every one of our contributions and are incredibly excited for the opportunities that this fundraiser has made available for our team. With 2 days remaining in the campaign, we want to set a new STRETCH GOAL of $6,000. We're only about $500 away!

This past weekend, Cal Figure Skating Team competed at the Pioneer Challenge in Denver, Colorado. We are incredibly proud to announce that we continued our undefeated season by placing 1st, making our team 2020 Pacific Coast Champions and Nationals bound! Our skaters have worked so hard and we want to thank YOU for making these amazing experiences possible for our team.

In other news, our skaters are currently preparing to travel to Denver, Colorado to compete in our final competition of the season before Nationals. But in order for us to continue competing and helping our skaters succeed, we need all the help we can get from donors like you!

We are also excited to share the results of our competition, Golden Bears Skate! This was the second regional competition of the season that we hosted right here in the East Bay at the Oakland Ice Center. We are happy to announce that the California Figure Skating Competition Team came in 1st place overall among a group of 14 intercollegiate competitors. We are so proud of our skaters and all the hard work they put in to make this happen.
