From the 60+ students in iGEM- THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts (or the center of our nuclei!) This past week, we have been overwhelmed with the response our community has shown- you brought us to over $1500! With your help, we believe we can reach a new goal of $4000.
This would QUADRUPLE our previous impact, which means we can:
Purchase an entire year’s supply of material costs
Upgrade two pieces of equipment
Purchase a year supply of DNA for four experiments
Send 4 students to MIT for the iGEM competition
Sponsor 1-2 student stipends for summer research

This level of donation will really get us off the ground- 3 of these donations means two students can attend the competition! To show our thanks, we'll arrange a call with yourself and the directors, or one of our teams, and you'll be able to see the individuals who will be using your donation in the best way they can.
We'll design a short interview/chat to host with you on our social media platforms (and it will be posted on our website as well). We can discuss a topic of your choosing, such as the importance of role models in bioengineering education, or our favorite Cas9 fusion technologies. This is a great way for any individual from the community to engage with our club, discuss new ideas and directions, and get involved in creating better opportunities for undergraduates for many years to come.
