I am really honored and humbled that I will be able to continue this project into the next academic year. Without the crowdfunding, I would long ago have had to find another way to earn my keep. I will end the campaign a day or two early if I reach the goal before the end...
If you've bean meaning to support April's Trial By Error crowdfunder and have put it off, here's the link--and thanks!

With 13 days left, this month's has reached almost 50% of the goal, with 266 donations. The project focuses on ME, CFS, ME/CFS, so-called "medically unexplained symptoms," and related issues--and on exposing poor quality research in these domains.

Hi, all--The April campaign ends Friday night, and is within $1500 of the goal. This is never my favorite thing to do, and I am really humbled every time by the response. This project is very rewarding to me, and I'm glad to be able to continue to work on it.

Berkeley's October crowdfunding campaign is half over and Trial by Error has reached 52% of the goal! Many of you have already donated--thanks! I realize it's a hard time for everyone, given what's going on all over. The funding will allow me to continue with the project as a senior fellow at Berkeley's Center for Global Public Health.
For those who would still like to donate (tax-deductible to US taxpapers), here is the link for the current campaign, with 14 days to go:

And here's my most most recent post--about PACE co-author Professor Trudie Chalder's most recent study of an apparently useless intervention for so-called "persistent physical symptoms":
