William W. Wurster founded the Environmental Design Archives in 1953 as a teaching collection, in response to the recommendation of eminent architectural historian Henry Russell Hitchcock. Sixty-seven years later the Archives holds true to its original mission by working with more than 300 students each academic year for interactive instruction sessions, individual research appointments, and the annual furniture competition. Your donation allows us to continue to enrich student’s education with our spectacular collections. Consider contributing today and help us reach our goal of $35,000 – every dollar counts.
