Our Crowdfunding Groups
When STAR was founded five years ago, we undertook a huge amount of research to put ourselves on the map as a competitive rocket team. Following the success and experience gained from designing our most recent rocket, Bear Force One, we are once again committing to an expansion of our rocketry program - taking our organization to the next level.
The money you donate will give us the ability to build and fly our most complex rocket to date, enabling us to develop multi stage vehicles, custom solid motors, and a plethora of experimental payloads in-house.
Please donate generously - we love building rockets, and we rely on the support of our community to keep us flying! To design, make, fly, and publicize our next rocket, our projected budget is $7,285, broken down into subsystems:
So what is your money buying? Aside from allowing us to actually build this year’s rocket, you’re also helping STAR continue our important outreach work. Every member of STAR works on our outreach program, which has seen us educate thousands of young children about rocketry over the past 5 years. We work hard to foster the curiosity and interest of the next generation in STEM and spaceflight.
