About Us
The Undergraduate Gift Campaign (UGC) is the official student philanthropy group of the College of Chemistry. Our goal is to galvanize undergraduate students of the College of Chemistry to support the next generation of scientific leaders at UC Berkeley. Led by a team of passionate and dedicated undergraduate students, our campaign works to build a school-wide culture of philanthropy amongst our students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Through student events and participation in the campus-wide initiative Big Give, we educate our community on the importance of philanthropy and instill a sense of camaraderie and pride for being a Bear
We had a record-breaking 2020 with our number of donors more than tripling any other fund on campus! Join us in making our 2021 campaign the best yet to help create a community of support for College of Chemistry undergraduate students that will last a lifetime.

Matching Gifts
For every $1 donated, Dean Doug, Dean Arnold, and Advisory Board Member Georgie Scheuerman will match $3. So, by giving just $10, you help raise $40 to support the CoC undergraduates!
We were last year’s most supported fund. Help us make Dean Doug and Dean Arnold proud by beating our donor goal of 220 this year to secure our title for another year!
