Blood Pressure Project (BPP) is a public health-oriented club that was started in 2013 by UC Berkeley undergraduates. The club continues to be ran and operated by undergraduates, usually with pre-health goals in mind. BPP's main goal is to spread heart health awareness by providing free blood pressure screenings for underprivileged individuals in the Berkeley community. Also, for uninsured individuals we help to connect them with healthcare providers in order to help improve their health and wellbeing. In order to do this, we go to many community events, such as farmer's markets, and set up booths in order to screen people's blood pressure. The funds raised will help support our club's mission by buying new equipment, merchandise, and care packages that are needed in order to better serve the Berkeley community.
Blood Pressure Project will use these funds in order to support our club and give back to the Berkeley community. Thank you so much for donating!
