Our team could not be successful without your generosity. Your donations have helped us reach to new heights far past our original goal. We are now at a new goal of $12,000 dollars for this years crowdfunding campaign.

We are a student-run and student-funded athletic club that receives little financial support from the school. We are the largest collegiate triathlon team in the country and one of the most decorated collegiate triathlon teams in history - and we have achieved all of this merely through the financial backing of team fundraising efforts and membership dues. The cost of training equipment, dues, and race travel can be expensive for any college student and a barrier for those hoping to get involved in the sport. Crowdfunding allows us to make triathlon an accessible sports for everyone who wants to get active and join the Cal Tri family <3

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our crowdfunding campaign! Because of you amazing Cal Tri friends, family, and alumni, we were able to raise a total of $11,061, surpassing our initial goal of $8,000! The funds raised will be thoughtfully and strategically allocated in ways to better support our athletes and keep Cal Tri's legacy alive and strong. 

Coming out of the pandemic, it was a goal of ours to rebuild our team to what it once was. We still have some work to do, and these funds will help us get there. This past weekend, we had 80 athletes race at Stanford's home race, Treeathlon. We chopped down some trees, and had solid podium finishes in both the men's and women's races, taking first and third for women and first and second for men. We also had many first-time triathlon racers come out to compete! 

We have a busy racing season ahead of us. Cal Tri will race at MTS put on by Cal Poly in a little less than two weeks, and then less than two weeks after that we fly to Georgia for Collegiate Nationals. Your support makes all of this possible! Cal Triathlon thanks you sincerely for the impact you have made on our team!!!

Last weekend, we had a race in San Diego, Tritonman, and Cal Tri performed spectacularly! We had podium placements, including first places for both men and women in the Collegiate division! We are so proud of all our athletes! 

There is only one more week left in our campaign, and we would like to raise even more money to help continue the Cal Tri legacy and maintain our status as one of the top Triathlon teams in the nation! We hope you consider making a donation if you haven't already!
