Our Crowdfunding Groups
Hello Everyone!
We are Puente at Berkeley and we focus on both professional development and social gatherings for First-Gen students and POC students as well! However, all are welcome and we have a diverse range of people who attend our events.
As previously mentioned, we have professional development events such as resume and LinkedIn workshops to help students further succeed at UC Berkeley. Additionally, we also try to balance our club out by having social events such as Loteria Nights, going out to Sports games, and more! We want to be a very well balanced club that has appeal to all interests.
Also, we have projects to help those that aren't Berkeley students. For example we do campus tours for High Schools and Community Colleges. Also, we work alongside a local middle school with a mentorship program.
From many different angles, Puente is trying to tie in underrepresented students at Berkeley and bring a sense of community for them, while also helping to give back and support our local community outside of Berkeley.
