We hope that you can explore the different ways this scholarship will make an impact on low-income political science students and consider donating to our cause.
According to the U.S. Office of Postsecondary Education, the University of California, Berkeley educates a high number of low-income students relative to its student body, highlighted especially in comparison to other universities (Daily Cal). The Iota Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha aims to bridge the gap in need-based resources for political science students, creating the Political Science Opportunity Scholarship -- one of the only need-based scholarships specific to the promotion of political science studies.
If you are within capacity, donations of any amount are welcome. Please consider joining this initiative and helping to propel deserving undergraduate students reach their academic aspirations and achieve their highest potential!
How will these funds be used?
Every penny from this crowdfunding campaign will be included in the Political Science Opportunity Fund which will sponsor present and future cohorts of political science undergraduate scholars at UC Berkeley! For every $250-$500, a need-based award is made available to deserving students who can propel the study of political science.

Every donor who generously shares $10 to our cause will receive a digital thank you card from the members of our organization.
Donors who generously contribute $100 or more will receive a thank you video from the President of the Iota Chapter, Gracielle Li and receive the perks of the Bronze-level.
Donors who generously contribute $250 or more will be honored in our monthly newsletter and receive the perks of the Silver- and Bronze-levels.
