Who We Are
Cal Women’s Club Volleyball fields a competitive team of dedicated players with rigorous academic schedules. They are in Division 1 of the NCCVL (http://nccvlw.org) and compete against Cal Poly SLO, Santa Clara, Sonoma, UC Davis, and USF at the league level and teams from all over the country at the national level each season. Our Mission
Cal Club Volleyball successfully became a club in 2015, being one of the first sports clubs. Our program started with one team and now has grown to two- women's A and women's B! Beginning with 15 talented women to now 26 accomplished athletes has become a great feat. As our club gains recognition and support, we intend to improve our national ranking while getting more funding for each team.
Last season, our A team ranked number 1 at the national championships in Arizona, playing on the field of the Arizona Diamondbacks!! As our teams keep growing, we hope to get more coaches and fundraise for our expensive travel. Neither one of our teams were able to make it to the Las Vegas tournament for the last 2 years because of the travel costs. We hope to work harder and achieve our goal of $3,500 to pay for the Vegas tournament for next season!

What Your Donation Goes Towards
Your donation will go towards next year's Vegas tournament and the many club costs to run our team. This semester, our team was informed that our gym will cost over $2,000 to rent for practice. As this expense was unforeseen as we have never had to pay for gym space, our possibility of going to Vegas next season seems less achievable. By donating to Cal Club Volleyball, you'll be helping us afford our gym space for this season and give us a chance to make it to Vegas next year!
With your help:
- 35% of our funds raised will pay for gym space, tournament fees, and coaching.
- 35% will go to travel costs which include plane tickets, hotels, gas, and rental cars
- 30% will be reserved for the Vegas Tournament entry fees.
