Our campaign for diversity scholarships has come to an end and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make this effort such a success. Thanks to your generous support, we will be able to fund three student scholarships for underrepresented minority students at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. This is an additional student above and beyond the two we set out to help, which is amazing! We can’t wait to share their stories with you once we select these bright, motivated students. Thank you for being a part of our public health community and for supporting our value of Strength through Diversity. You have helped to ensure the diversity of our public health workforce to the benefit of our communities and the world.

Thank you everyone for your generous support of our campaign! Thanks to you we have blown past our goal of 100+ donors and are very close to our $16,000 target for an additional student scholarship. We have less than $600 to raise in the next 5 hours. Please continue to share our campaign up to the final minutes if you are able, because it could really make a difference!
Whatever happens next, we are so proud to have achieved, with your help, our goal of funding two scholarships for underrespresented minority students attending the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. This really shows our community's broad support for educating a diverse public health workforce and we could not be more grateful.

We have already met our goal of funding two scholarships and we are now hoping to reach 100+ donors and raise $16,000 in order to fund an additional scholarship. With your help we can do it! We are thrilled to share the news that we reached our fundraising goal of $10,000 less than a week into our campaign! We are overwhelmed and so grateful for the generous support you’ve given. Because of you, we are able to create a new goal of $16,000. With this extra help, we will be able to finance an additional student scholarship in support of diversity in public health.

We will list your name in a PHAA Diversity Scholarship honor roll that will run in the March issue of Berkeley Health Monthly, the enewsletter for alumni and friends of the UC Berkeley School of Public Health.

In addition to listing your name in our BHM honor roll, we will invite you and a guest to the School of Public Health's 2017 Scholarship Tea, which brings together faculty, students, donors, and alumni to recognize student scholarship recipients and the donors whose generosity has made the awards possible. This event is on September 28, 2017. You will also be invited to a reception with Dean Stefano Bertozzi and other guests following the event.
