2024 Graduate Tribute

Fellow parents,

It’s really happening! It's been years in the making, and now our students are in their last semester at UC Berkeley, preparing to graduate. They’ve worked hard to achieve this goal, one that helps them transition to the next step of their adult lives. And you have supported them every step of the way. Congratulations to them, and to YOU. It's a whole family achievement – a momentous milestone!

Let’s come together and make a class gift to UC Berkeley

 to honor our childrens’ graduation.

Let’s celebrate what our students have achieved here at Cal, appreciative for who they have become in these formative years, and grateful to the remarkable public university that catalyzed their growth.

Let’s give back to pay forward to the families coming after us – to students who’ll be relieved to find free tutoring at the Student Learning Center or resume assistance and interviewing practice at the Career Center. This is what gifts to the Cal Parents Fund can do. (Speaking of career, did you know the Career Center is free for our graduates for 5 years? Yes, it’s been on our minds as it may be on yours, so we thought you should know.) Our gifts to the university today can keep these services free for many students in need.

We encourage donations of all sizes! Whatever your budget allows, know that we will proudly combine it into one big gift of appreciation.

Spring Commencement (May 11) will be here soon, and whether you’re able to attend in person or not, we wish you and your family the sweetest, deepest joy on that day of celebration.

Warmly,

Shara and David Witkin
