Support Molecular & Cell Biology Undergrad Student Association!

The Molecular and Cell Biology Undergraduate Student Association, or mcbUSA, is the oldest original MCB student organization sponsored by the UC Berkeley MCB department, and is a committee-based undergraduate organization, entirely driven and operated by a group of passionate and hardworking biology students. We strive to provide resources and opportunities for students who are enthusiastic about biology by exploring the diverse career paths in healthcare and industry, fostering relationships between students and faculty, and more!

Each year, we hold a wide array of events, such as various professional development workshops, Medical School Night, Summer Opportunities Symposium, student-faculty mixers, community-building socials, mentorship programs, and alumni panels. We also run the Summer Undergraduate Research Program which connects students to biology-related labs. This semester, we are excited to introduce our first annual Research Symposium, offering students the chance to practice creating and presenting research posters! 

Your support will go directly towards these various events and programs run by mcbUSA! 100% of contributions will aid in covering:

• Venue rental costs
• Purchasing essential materials like poster boards
• Facilitating faculty-student luncheon mixers
• Supporting mentorship program activities

Every contribution, regardless of size, will help us continue to build a sense of community, provide growth opportunities, and elevate biology undergraduates at Cal!
