Who Are We?

The Gymnastics Club of California is a group of student athletes on campus with a passion for gymnastics and a strong community of friendship and love towards one another. We are the revival of intramural collegiate gymnastics here at UC Berkeley post-covid. Through the grit and determination of past passionate club members we were able to recreate and build a new community that will hopefully be able to continue to provide a sense of belonging for cal alumni past, present, and future.

Our Goals

Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to all people (students and alumni alike!) wanting to build their relationship with gymnastics (whether they are just starting out or whether they've been doing gymnastics all their life). As our club continues to grow we seek your support to help fund our athletes and their gymnastics journey! Gymnastics can be an extremely expensive sport  (subsequently unaccessible for many students) and in an aim to make it more accessible to students we are seeking fundraising to support the competition and travel of club members who would otherwise not be able to afford such incredible opportunities. 

Donations

We are a talented group of students who bare the pride of Cal at every competition we attend. We're pretty darn good at competing too! At Nationals 2023 we had numerous members rank in the top 3 (in the nation!) on various events, and even had our Women's Platinum team make finals! As we continue to train we hope to take as many athletes as possible to Nationals 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico (April 10th-13th)! That's where you come in! :)

Funds raised through this campaign will go towards registration fees and other team costs for Nationals 2024. Registration fees are $165 per student! If we meet our fundraising goal we would be able to take three students to Nationals who would otherwise not be able to go due to cost. If were to surpass our goal we could continue to pay for registrations for other students! Money beyond registration fees would go towards offsetting costs of flights and hotels for our members.

All former athletes know how integral competing is to the experience and team building of any sport. We cannot thank you enough (but we'll try!) for your support in making this sport more accessible to students and members who would otherwise not be able to participate in such activities. <3
