KALX Needs You!
KALX provides freeform music radio, as well as news, public affairs, arts, and sports programming by and for the Berkeley community (and the world!) all day, everyday. While the University provides funding for our few career staff, everything else we do, from major station upgrades to purchasing replacement parts for turntables -- everything! -- is funded by you, our generous listeners.
Among our major goals this year is the purchase and implementation of a digital music library system so that we can share all of the great music that is being sent to us as audio files but is not pressed to physical media. That will require the purchase of servers and more. But KALX can't do much of anything big or small without your support! Thank you for making what we do possible.
