Since our founding in 2015, Berkeley KDSAP has been at the forefront of student-led efforts to combat disparities in healthcare through our free kidney screenings. Our work is made possible by your generosity, which enables us to continue serving our community.

Through our crowdfunding campaign this past month, we raised $2305 (A whopping 230% of our initial goal!!). These funds will be used towards numerous screening supplies, travel fees, and other volunteer necessities to support our Bay Area community as well as providing invaluable opportunities to our student volunteers. Your contributions to our cause means so much to our organization, and we cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity throughout this process.

For those who have claimed a perk, we plan to fulfill these over the next month. We will contact you all accordingly to set these up if necessary. So be sure to stay on the lookout for an email!

Our crowdfunding campaign is just over halfway through, and we are pleased to announce that we have already met our goal of $1000! Thank you so much for your generosity and support throughout this process so far. Our free Kidney Screenings around the community would not possible without you all, and we are grateful for your impact. 

With that being said, our campaign is still up for another 11 days! We have created a new stretch goal of $1500. Many of our screening supplies are single-use (blood glucose lancets, urinalysis strips, etc.) and their prices are not getting any cheaper. Your continued support will be extremely helpful for us to purchase these essential supplies and host screenings in the future. Please consider helping us reach our new stretch goal to make a lasting impact on our community's health!
