Cal Aero SAE Sends a Million Thanks!
Dear Lovely Donors,
A million thanks for your amazing contributions to Cal Aero SAE’s competition travel fundraising campaign this October. Because of your support, we were able to raise a record $6,000 in funding, making this the most successful campaign in club history, a testament to our continued growth and our strong community of people like you.
With this funding, we were not only able to fully cover the cost of shipping our plane to Texas, allowing our team to see their hard work in action, but also lodging at the event, giving us a place to rest and repair our plane (sometimes overnight!). This eliminates a huge financial burden for our 25 student engineers, lowering the barrier of entry for rare career-relevant engineering experiences at Berkeley.
