Final Update: CalSol Crowdfunding Massive Success
Dear CalSol Community,
We are delighted to announce that we have raised $18,677 from crowdfunding this month with a total of 282 donors! Thanks to everyone, we exceeded our goal by 155%. This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of everyone who has donated, reposted, and shared in our enthusiasm for this mission. Your support fuels CalSol’s legacy to designing and racing solar vehicles for many more years to come.
These donations will directly support the development of Gen XI’s aero shell, PCB development, array integration, and other hands-on projects. As for perks, please look out for them in your email inbox as we will be sending them out later this month!

CalSol Extends Crowdfunding Goal to $15,000
Dear CalSol Donors,
Thank you so much for helping us reach our goal of $12,000! We are blown away by all your support. Our achievements would not be possible without you! We also want to thank our team, alumni, sponsors, family and friends who have made this endeavor possible. Everyone who has shared, reposted, or donated will directly contribute to making our Gen XI vehicle come alive. Thank you!
Due to this impressive accomplishment, we are extending our crowdfunding goal to $15,000.
The funding gained from this month will be extremely impactful for our team. For example, our next generation 11th car heavily relies on CAD, PCB design, controls, composites manufacturing, and data analysis, all of which is made possible by our generous donors. As a token of appreciation, we are publishing a newsletter to all donors that will provide progress updates, member spotlights, and fun pictures which will summarize what our teams have been up to. We also plan to send out donor perks by the end of the month, so look out for that!
