We’re thrilled to share some incredible news: thanks to your generosity, we didn’t just meet our $5,000 goal — we more doubled it. Together, we raised over $12,325 to support the Biology Scholars Program (BSP) Student Room!

Your support means more than you know. Because of you, we can:

• Provide nourishing meals during finals
• Keep the room stocked with snacks and supplies
• Upgrade furniture and lighting to make the space more welcoming
• Expand our resource library and fund student-led events

This room is more than four walls. It’s a home-away-from-home for BSP students. And now, thanks to you, it will continue to be a place of connection, comfort, and community for years to come.

While the core work of BSP is to serve students, through efforts like upgrading the student room, BSP serves the campus and higher education community as well. 

In John's final year before retirement, he is hosting four workshops discussing the importance of programs like BSP to support students and lessons learned in BSP's 33 year history about how best to mentor, advise, and teach students to develop talent and work alongside students who are on their path to achieving their full potential.

During last Friday's workshop, many BSP alum were in attendance virtually, and six alum were in attendance in-person!
