Thank you all so much for your support! We're hoping to keep the momentum going, and raise $1500 to ensure our programming remains accessible to our Filipino community!
About Us
PASAE’s mission is to support Pilipinx students in technical fields by providing community, cultural grounding, academic resources, and professional development opportunities! We focus on empowering members through career-oriented events such as industry panels, technical workshops, and our Alumni Mixer, connecting students with professionals and alumni from companies like Gilead, Cisco, and other leading STEM organizations. Funding will help us continue offering these programs and expand access to professional networks. Funds will also cover yearly costs for workshops, speaker honorariums, event materials, food, and venue fees.
Our Industry Panel and Alumni Mixer are two of PASAE’s most impactful and long-standing events, designed to connect Filipino UC Berkeley students in STEM with industry professionals and alumni. The Industry Panel offers students direct access to career insights, expert advice, and Filipino success stories through guided discussions and Q&A, while the Alumni Mixer provides a more casual, catered networking space where students can build personal connections, receive resume feedback, and learn about internship or career opportunities. With past attendance of 30–40 students and panelists, these decade-old events have helped many members establish mentorships and professional pathways beyond graduation.
Our Goals
PASAE hosts a series of cultural, academic, and professional development events throughout the school year. Funds from this campaign will be used for our major Spring 2026 programs. Our events this academic year include:
February 2026: Spring Semester General Meeting, Technical Workshop Series, Industry Panel Planning & Logistics
March 2026: Industry Panel, Cultural & community social events
April 2026: Year-end academic support events (PA-Study, workshop follow-ups), Spring Banquet
These programs are hosted annually, and funds raised will help cover materials, food, speaker support, and other program-related costs throughout the spring semester.

As Pilipinx-identifying students in STEM, being underrepresented makes access to resources and professional connections especially important. Meeting our fundraising goal would allow us to continue hosting key events like the Industry Panel and Alumni Mixer which provide rare opportunities for students to connect with industry professionals and be uplifted through mentorship, guidance, and representation. If we do not reach our full fundraising goal, funds will still be prioritized toward these essential professional development events, with other programs scaled as needed.
