To our previous and current donors,

We at KDSAP are truly grateful for your support! Your donations allow us to continually expand and improve our engagement with medically underserved communities here in the Bay. Since the beginning of our campaign, we have held our first screening at the J-Sei Japanese cultural center in Emeryville, and delivered a kidney health awareness presentation at the North Oakland Senior Center! Looking forward, we have 5 more screenings planned throughout Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco. We also plan to collaborate again with J-Sei to deliver care packages and kidney health resources to elderly community members.

This semester we hope to raise $3000 to cover medical supply, transport, and outreach costs for our screenings in the spring! Ensuring we have the proper medical supplies on hand to provide our patients with a high quality of care is one of our most significant expenses. At KDSAP, we pride ourselves on developing strong relationships with our community partners and understanding the unique needs of the diverse patient populations we work with. As a result, we incur significant costs from our educational resource development and distribution initiatives as well.

Currently, our per patient costs for individual supplies is only $5.00. Every donation, no matter the size, increases our capacity to serve.
