Description
PAHC 40 PAHCtillion!Pilipino Association for Health Careers (PAHC) aims to support the wellbeing and goals of pre-med/health students at UC Berkeley who aspire to one day work and be involved in healthcare. The mission of our program is to simultaneously raise awareness on current health issues affecting Pilipinx and surrounding communities, while also serving as a strong support system for students who strive towards a career in healthcare. To be able to support these students and provide them with a strong foundation of current health issues in our community, we aim to accomplish this goal through programming events and health mission trips that we can provide throughout the school year. From the funding that we receive through this opportunity, we hope to provide successful and interactive activities for pre-health students, where they can expand their clinical knowledge and experience that can further support their journey towards their healthcare goals. We aspire to once again provide health-mission trips with the help of this funding, so that students can be gifted with the opportunity to provide care to underserved communities, while raising awareness on modern-day healthcare issues in diverse communities.
This project will allow us to improve our quality of our programming events, whether that be through social events or joint organization mixers for pre-health students from different communities to come together and interact. This will also help us in our goal to be able to offer more insightful clinical and learning opportunities for students!

What our programming for this school year consists of:
- Pre-health social events: $200
- PAHC Intern Development Day: $175
- PAHC Benefit Concert: $5000
- Health Mission Trip: $3000

Stop the Bleed Workshop x BMRC
With the money we raise, we hope to provide smaller programming events to the pre-health students and provide them with opportunities that can expose them to clinical experience and providing care to those in need.
