Last Update!
Hello All!
Our campaign is ending soon, as it is closing tomorrow, October 31st, at midnight.
First of all, we want to thank all the donors who provided generous gifts and support to our organization. This wouldn't have been possible without you!
If you haven't made a donation, please help us finish strong and reach our goal! Consider sharing this with people who you think may potentially donate.
Although this is our last update and our campaign is ending soon, this isn't goodbye! We encourage you to continue to stay updated on our journey to space that you helped fund! Follow us on any of our following social media:

One Week Left!
With our campaign ending soon, we wanted to take this opportunity to share what we have been up to since the last update!
CalSTAR has been hard at work designing our NASA Student Launch Rocket. Currently, our rocket stands at 9' 2" and 31 lbs. There will be two diameters on this rocket (6" and 4"). We will be testing our custom tube manufacturing on the transition piece in between the two diameters to apply to our 10k-30k feet rocket later in the year. We hope to get a significant amount of data that we can use to make our IREC rocket and our future space shot a success! Additionally, our propulsion team has been prototyping solid rocket motors and conducting live-fire tests as a milestone towards a full-scale custom rocket motor for our IREC rocket!
Without your generous help and support, we will not be able to make our rocket design to come alive.
PLEASE HELP US BUILD OUR ROCKET!
Half way there!
First of all, THANK YOU all to our donors!
As of today, Oct. 15 2017, we reached our half point of our goal!
Thanks to all the support and donations, CalSTAR has been able to continue our pursuit to space.
So far, we finalized our proposal for 2018 NASA Student Launch and secured our spot in the competition.
Also, we were able to reach out to more than 400 people during Ohlone College Science Night on Oct. 7th, where we showcased our previous rocket model and demonstrated few science activities to elementary school students.
From now and until the end of the campaign, we will continue to develop our design of our rocket for NASA SL and continue our outreach events to inspire many more.
I want to remind you all that without your support, we can not reach our dream.
Thank you again for your consideration to donate our program!
