support graduate diversity at Berkeley School of Public Health
The Berkeley Public Health Alumni Association (PHAA) wants to thank you again for donating to last year's crowdfunding campaign where with your help, we raised scholarship money to fund 8 incoming students! We're back at it again and want to support at least 12 students this year for our 2019 Diversity Scholarships. Pictured below are some of the students you helped with financing to attend Berkeley.
As of this morning, we have met 65% of our goal. The crowdfunding campaign ends 2/28 at 11:59PM, so we're encouraging you to share via e-mail, text or social media the bit.ly/berkeleysph2019 url so others can donate to support incoming graduate students at Berkeley's School of Public Health from underrepresented backgrounds.
If we exceed our goal of $10,000, each additional $2,000 will fund another graduate diversity scholarship. If you've donated already, thank you for your continued support! We ask you please share this information with others! Visit bit.ly/berkeleysph2019 to see our current campaign! -PHAA Team
Thank You Donor!
Our Crowdfunding Campaign has ended as of 2/23/18. We wanted to say thank you again for donating and supporting Graduate Diversity and Inclusion at UC Berkeley's School of Public Health. We had an original goal of $10,000 and you helped us exceed that! Your contributions helped raised $14,839 which will fund at least 7 Diversity Scholarships! The number may go up once matching contributions are received, so it's possible we will fund 8 students!
The recruiting goal of UC Berkeley's School of Public Health is simple: Attract graduate talent and have a student body that's reflective of California's demographics. We're one step closer thanks to you. You have helped to ensure the diversity of our public health workforce to the benefit of our communities and the world.
