A great big GOLDEN BEAR THANK YOU to each of our 55 donors who carried us over the finish line to meet and surpass our initial goal of $8,160! Thank you for your support, generosity, and spreading the word to get this project to take flight (pun intended!).

We now have a STRETCH GOAL of $15,000. This will allow us to fly up more low-income students from Southern California, pay for shuttles from Oakland airport to campus, cover any airport fees such as luggage overages, and provide refreshments to our traveling Bears while on their journey to their new home in Berkeley. Any funds raised in excess will directly support Cal students through CAA's student programming.

Your support has been tremendous! With just 18 days left in the project, please help spread the word to your Cal friends and family so we can show these new Bears that the Cal community supports them and has their back.
