Hello Everyone, 

The crowdfunding period is ending soon. This fundraiser has been successful up to this point with the help of 65 donors (woohoo), but we have a lot left to go. We are hoping to raise 35k more dollars in the last days of the campaign. Currently, we have enough money to replace about half of our fleet, but we can't replace the fleet unless all the boats are bought at the same time. This is because when we host regattas, all of our boats need to be in the same condition. 

Let's get as close to our goal as possible. Please share our page with people who are connected with the sport of sailing or Cal that you think would be willing to help our cause. The time is now, if we wait too much longer the crowdfunding period will be over. SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!

Hey Everyone,

More great news, we have reached our goal! Thank you so much to everyone who has helped us to be the first Cal Sports Club team to reach our goal.

We have a stretch goal: 12k. 

Heres why:

A corporate donor with ties to Cal Sailing made us an offer to help obtain our capital improvements expected to require $60k to $70k. He will donate $20,000, IF, our crowd funding efforts surpass $10,000. 

These funds have the potential to dramatically alter Cal Sailing, helping us to be reach our full potential and will help us reach many of the goals.

Hey Everyone,

Great news, out of all the crowdfunding groups from UC Berkeley, we have raised the second largest amount of money! Thank you to everyone who has donated or shared our story in the first few days of our campaign. We truly have the best Alumni, Friends, and Family!

We are almost there with $6,421. We need $1,579 more and we will reach our goal! Keep sharing our story so that we can achieve and hopefully surpass our goal. Your donations and volunteering are what keep this team prosperous and competitive!
