Cal builds Olympians. Celebrate our University's past and future Olympians by giving to Cal's Road to Rio '16 Campaign.

The Road to Rio crowdfund evenly supports the operational budgets of all our Olympic sports. A gift to the Road to Rio campaign will ensure that our intercollegiate athletic programs continue to provide the conditions for success that shape the world’s finest athletes. Investing in Cal means investing in individuals who embrace the challenge and responsibility of competing and excelling at the highest level. Cal Athletics supports 30 Division I intercollegiate sports and over 850 student-athletes. In its history, Cal has claimed 89 team national titles and 283 individual championships. Cal has had at least one national champion every year since the 1973-74 season, a remarkable run of 42 consecutive years with a title.

Cal's all-time Olympic medal count stands at 105 Gold, 47 Silver, and 33 Bronze. At the 2012 London Summer Games, Golden Bear athletes won 15 golds and 23 medals overall. If Cal was its own country, it would have finished fifth in gold medals (ahead of Germany, France, and Australia) and eleventh overall.
