We have reached about 85% of our goal, $4,235! A huge thank you to all 38 of our patrons! Your generosity will help ensure that everybody will be able to attend the Texas competition, and more importantly, will ensure that a new generation of engineers experiences the thrill of aerospace engineering and flight.
We are already hard at work with designing our plane! Our Electrical/Testing team is gathering data by testing different propeller and battery configurations.
For updates throughout the school year, please like us on Facebook, follow our YouTube, and keep an eye out on our website!
To our donors, we will be having another update regarding our tokens of appreciation. And once again, thank you for your help!
Sincerely,
Charles Lin and the Aerospace SAE Team
Dear Aerospace SAE supporters,
Thank you so much for donating so far! At 50% of the way there, we have already covered the important costs of housing our team at competition and shipping our plane and equipment to Texas. It's very heartening to understand that there are many who appreciate and support aerospace-inclined engineers at Cal!
We've been busy this past month initiating our team's recruits through an internal foam-plane building project! After finishing flights of those planes, we are beginning our prototype designs in earnest.
It's the final week of our campaign; if you haven't already, please consider donating to help subsidize some of our engineers' airfare for competition!
Thank you everybody once again! :)
To show our thanks, we'll give you a shout on social media. We'll also list you and a short message of your choice on our website!
With your gift, you will receive a set of Aerospace SAE team stickers. Proudly display your support for Berkeley aerospace anywhere!
Get signed photos of us at our competition this year!
Receive a personalized, wooden, laser-etched thank you card!
Come join us at our team's Crowdfunding Thank You receptions after competition in March! Come meet the team, tour our workspaces, and see how we do what we do!
