4 Days Left to Support Our 2026 Crowdfunding Campaign!

February 24, 2026

Hello!

The American Medical Women’s Association would like to thank you once again for your generous support over the past few years. The last day of our 2026 crowdfunding campaign is this Saturday, February 28th! As of now, we have only reached 21% of our goal and are hoping to make a strong final push in these last few days.

As mentioned previously, we are working to better support our chapter committees and help them continue their semesterly initiatives. This semester, some of our committees are organizing tabling events such as a period product drive and a period pain simulator to advocate for menstrual health awareness. Others are collaborating with partner organizations and planning to host guest speakers, including a nutritionist and an oncology panel.

Last fall, we were also able to continue our partnership with the UCSF Society of Women in Medicine (SWiM), pairing many of our members with physician mentors. This has allowed them to gain valuable shadowing experience and build long-term mentoring relationships. By helping us reach our goal, we hope to expand this mentorship program and offer participants the opportunity to attend a suturing workshop alongside their mentors.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could help us spread the word by sharing the link to our current campaign. Your support truly makes a difference in empowering the next generation of women in medicine.

Thank you for your continued support,

AMWA Berkeley

Support AMWA’s 2026 Crowdfunding Campaign!

February 02, 2026

Hello,

AMWA would like to thank you for your generous support and donation to our 2022 campaign. We are excited to share that we are back with another crowdfunding campaign and would be honored to have your support once again.

Over the past few years, our organization has continued to grow in both size and impact. Thanks to supporters like you, AMWA Berkeley has been able to expand our programming and create more opportunities for our members to learn, connect, and thrive.

The Berkeley chapter of AMWA hosts both chapter-wide events and committee-specific initiatives that allow members to pursue their passions within medicine and public health. Funds from this campaign will support committee goals as well as club-wide events. These include our annual Pre-Health Symposium, our Big-Little mentorship program, along with other educational and professional development opportunities.

Last Fall, we were able to continue our partnership with UCSF SWiM and paired lots of our members with physician mentors! This allowed them to gain shadowing experience as well as long-term relationships with their mentor.

Our goal is to continue supporting our members by providing the resources they need to gain meaningful experiences. We would greatly appreciate your support of our 2026 campaign, whether by donating or helping spread the word.

Thank you,

AMWA Berkeley
