Cal Habitat 2026 Campaign now LIVE
Thank you for supporting our previous crowdfunding campaign in 2024! Your contributions have helped continue the impact Cal Habitat creates throughout the Bay Area.

Since our last campaign, we’ve expanded our membership, launched new initiatives, and continued serving the campus community with our many projects!
Raising The Roof:
- Our support at YSA Tiny Village for at-risk youth is officially opened for move-in as of 9/26, thanks to the many hours of service our Cal Habitat Members have committed
- We have donated our first playhouse to the New school of Berkeley!
- Habitat continues their service at Esperanza place and Sequoia Grove to create affordable homes for many families
Creating access to greenery spaces:
- Going on hike trails to ensure the growth of native plants in the area
- Doing cleanups in coastal areas for our environment
- Addressing food insecurity
- Volunteering at soup kitchens to mitigate the effects of the housing crises
- Harvesting at community farms and gardens that gives families access to produce
We’ve now launched a new crowdfunding campaign to support our next chapter of service. We are continuing our work with community partners at builds, soup kitchens, farms, etc., but also hope to sustain new projects. With your support we want to make an impact in neighborhoods by doing cleanups in our community. Cal Habitat also wants to be able to sustain a little food pantry that will benefit people daily. With many more creative projects prospering we need the support!

The Crowdfunding project has come to an end, and we want to thank you! Your generosity is a beacon of hope. Thanks to you, Cal Habitat can continue transforming lives across the Bay Area through vital community service projects.
Building Hope:
Your donations are helping us construct hope, one nail at a time. We're not just building homes; we're creating futures at projects like:
YSA Tiny Village for at-risk youth
Esperanza Place, where 23 families now have affordable homes! Phase 2 involves building more!
Playhouse builds to bring joy to children in need
Enhancing Environment:
Conducting critical clean-ups and mitigating fire risks
Equipping our volunteers with essential tools like trash pickers and gloves
Addressing Basic Human Needs:
Mitigating the ripple effects of the housing crisis through soup kitchens and food pantry events for the community
Creating purposeful essential needs kits to distribute

A grand total of : $2305! We’re so grateful for your support! This was our first crowdfunding, and we are genuinely so so grateful for the turnout. These funds will go a long way with the help of our dedicated student volunteers.

You empower our event, so we think you rightfully deserve to experience being our guest. Volunteer side by side students at build sites. (Building/repairing homes for unhoused youth, elderly, and low-income families). It is a meaningful experience to contribute directly to the community.
