Final Update: BERKE1337 Fundraiser is Complete!
To all our supporters,
Since the early 2010s, BERKE1337 has represented the UC Berkeley cybersecurity student body in national capture-the-flag, network defense, and now penetration testing competitions. Thanks to your donations, we are able to continue this legacy into the next school year!
Over the past month, we raised $3,865 -- that's 128% of our goal! -- from 14 donors. We are thrilled and excited to put these funds towards the success of our student body and help fund early cybersecurity careers! We can't even begin to explain how much your contributions mean to us, we can only hope to live up to the expectations of all of those who contributed and do our best to keep BERKE1337 at the top of the leaderboards.
Over the course of the next month alone, we will be sending out notifications for perk rewards and follow-ups for those who claimed our various tiers. Please keep an eye out on your inbox!
Wish us luck as we close out the year, we'll need it especially for the month of November as we prepare for the Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition this weekend at Stanford, the National Cyber League team games also this weekend, and the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition invitationals in the coming weekends!
