WE DID IT! Within the very last day of our crowdfunding campaign, we surpassed our goal of $15,000 - all thanks to YOU, our families, community, and supporters. Today we celebrate that we will be able to bring more student musicians on our Spanish tour, even if they don't have the financial means to afford it.
If you would still like to support us, our project will remain live for a few more hours. But mostly, we hope you will join us in celebrating a great milestone in our fundraising progress. See you in Spain!
A special thanks to the over 100 donors for pulling us to our goal in the last few days! We truly could not have done it without each of your contributions.
Today is also the deadline to sign up for our benefit event on Sunday, April 9 at 6 pm at the Hillside Club in Berkeley. This will be a lot of fun and will feature our concerto competition winners, Spanish cuisine, and good company. The ticket purchases for this event will go directly to our Spain tour fundraising efforts and support the musicians on their journey aboard. Tickets can be purchased here: orchestra.berkeley.edu/2017-benefit-event if you are interested. We're looking forward to a great evening and lots of wonderful music, and we hope to be able to share this with you.
Again thank you so much for all your support! We can't make music without each and every one of YOU, our UCBSO family!
Thank you again for all of your love and support of the arts and of our orchestra! We are so grateful to all who helped us get to 80%! We are so close, and we're only two days away from the end of this campaign! Can you help us reach our goal so that we can get to Spain and play at this beautiful hall in Barcelona in just two months!
Thank you again to the 86 of you who have helped us on our journey this far! We have only four more days left to reach our goal of $15,000! Can you help us by sharing this page with your friends and family? If each of you got two of your friends to give $50, we would more than surpass our goal, sending us towards Spain!
Thank you so much to all of you who have donated so far! We cannot do this without your amazing and continued support of the arts, at a time when we need it the most! Add your name to this plane as we prepare to take off to Spain in just 61 more days!
Our last concert of the March season is tonight at 8pm in Hertz Hall! Join us tonight for some exciting music and opportunities to win exciting prizes!
"Music helps to define what it means to be human, and orchestras will continue to do what we have always done: play powerful, intriguing, uplifting, thought-provoking music."
Thank you so much to our 33 donors for helping us define being human, and helping us get to a quarter of the way there! Can we make it to 50 donors by the end of the weekend?
