Less Than a Week Left to Support Berkeley Scientific Journal!
Thank you all for your donations so far! Due to your generosity, we surpassed our original $2,000 goal and set a new stretch goal of $3,000. With less than a week left in our campaign, we’re hoping to reach this milestone to share science with a wider audience and promote scientific literacy!

We Reached $2,000! Help Us Reach Our New Goal of $3,000
Thank you so much for helping Berkeley Science Journal surpass our original fundraising goal of $2000! We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed and shared our campaign. Your support means so much to our team.
Unfortunately, recent funding cuts to student media at UC Berkeley have created significant financial challenges for BSJ, affecting our ability to distribute our journal. At BSJ, we believe that scientific communication should remain available to everyone, especially at a time when scientific information and public understanding of research are becoming increasingly important. Scientific literacy is critical to an informed public, and by reporting on new discoveries and research in the form of engaging articles, we hope to inspire curiosity around us.
With your support, we’re setting a new stretch goal of $3,000!
Reaching this goal will help us print and distribute both our regular semesterly journals and mid-semester editions as well as host more educational events. This will increase our capacity to expand reach beyond campus and bring science journalism to more readers throughout the Bay Area.
