We are expecting Excalibur to start running within a few months and have it test drive through California. Excalibur is anticipated to be the fastest and the most efficient vehicle that CalSol has manufactured with its carbon fiber monocoque chassis and low coefficient of drag. UC Berkeley's 2018 Big Give has begun! CalSol is proud to participate in this year's online fundraising drive, and we highly encourage and appreciate your support as the Big Give lasts until 9:00 PM tonight!

We will be trying to win the "Go Big for Student Group" contest by having the largest number of online donors, and we are currently sitting at 4th place. The top prize is $5,000 for our organization! A donation as small as the $10 minimum will count towards our contest standing, since only the number of donations count. 

We'll be posting our own team members' #BerkeleyMoments and #CalSolMoments on our social media pages, where they will be sharing why CalSol is such an important part of their lives. Please check out our social media campaign at our Facebook and Twitter pages! Our team has been working hard to share our unique CalSol moments, and show the world why the solar car team means so much to us.

Dear friends,

We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Through your generosity and contributions, we were able to raise $10,935 during our October crowdfunding campaign for Tachyon. 

We've already begun manufacturing Tachyon, and we will be posting about our progress regularly on our social media pages, as well as on this page (updates will be emailed to you automatically). Tachyon will be racing in the 2018 American Solar Challenge during the summer, so stay tuned for our media coverage during the race.

In return for your generous support, we are preparing to enact the rewards outlined in the original campaign. We will be sending an email out to everyone shortly on which perks they will receive, and other logistics. Please stay tuned to receive these perks by the specified time, and we hope it will help show how much we appreciate your support!

Firstly, we want to thank you for contributing to our crowdfunding campaign. Thanks to your generous support, Tachyon is one step closer to becoming a reality.

It is now halfway through our month-long campaign, and we’ve raised nearly $2,600 for Tachyon’s build. We will be pushing hard over the next two weeks to raise more money to come closer to our $20,000 goal, and we need your help.
