Crowdfunding Link Update: https://crowdfund.berkeley.edu/suitcase26
Dear 2019 donors,
In our previous email on support for the Suitcase Clinic, some of our campaign hyperlinks were broken (404 Error). The correct link is the following: https://crowdfund.berkeley.edu/suitcase26 (can double-check to ensure it appears this way in your browser!). Through this, you can donate to our mission of providing free health and social services to underserved populations in Berkeley.
Apologies for the confusion and thank you to all who let us know.
Best,
Aralyn Connolly
2026 Campaign (https://crowdfund.berkeley.edu/suitcase26)
Dear 2019 Donors,
Thank you again for your generous support of the Suitcase Clinic’s 2019 crowdfunding campaign. Your donation helped sustain free health and social services for people experiencing homelessness in Berkeley, and your impact is still felt today.

Our 100+ student team, in collaboration with licensed professionals, continues to serve 40–50 clients weekly at our drop-in clinics, while distributing food and essential supplies to many more on outreach walks.
However, our rainy-day budgets have been severely depleted since COVID, preventing us from being able to provide for clients should another crisis hit. We also have many dreams of expanding services for clients, but are limited in what we can provide not due to any shortage of drive or volunteers, but due to a lack of financial ability.
To reduce barriers our volunteers have between their desire to serve and their ability to do so, we’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign for 2026. By sharing our campaign link and donating, you make our vision of direct service with dignity possible. We invite you to rejoin our mission and check out our new crowdfunding campaign at https://crowdfund.berkeley.edu/suitcase26 (currently going strong!). All donations are tax deductible (IRS EIN: 94-6090626; Revenue Canada: 154146), and every dollar makes a tangible difference.
Thank you,
Aralyn Connolly (Suitcase Clinic Finance Director, 2026)

Thank you!
We are happy to inform everyone that over the past several weeks we've distributed many of our new supplies throughout our clinic spaces! Some clinics even have surplus rain and winter gear still available to be distributed in the upcoming days as the rains continue. We could not have done this without the support of our donors. There are few privileges afforded in life as valuable as being able to give back to our communities and as such we would like to thank you for standing by us in our endeavor to do so. As a community we were able to make this happen and once more we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for everything. We did it!
As a side note, one of our team members should have already contacted donors via email about all the perks that were claimed. Below is the Tax ID for the UC Berkeley Foundation 94-6090626
We did it!!!
Thank you once more for all the love and support shown by our generous donors who helped us with our mission of advocacy and allowed us to surpass our stretch goal of $4,000! Once more we could not have done it without everyone's help!
We are currently doing our best with the funds already available to meet the needs of our clients as we await on our bulk orders of supplies to arrive. We will update soon with photos and information once the orders arrive and we begin more widescale distribution.
As a final note, perks will begin to be distributed very soon so keep an eye out for the updates. Thank you!
-Share the Warmth Team
Thank you to everyone who has so graciously donated thus far! Just 2 days left to our campaign, please help us reach our Stretch Goal of $4,000!
We have surpassed our goal and we have so many people to thank for being at this point, especially all our donors! We could not have done this without your support.
We are currently doing all that we can to begin buying and distributing supplies for our clients given the freeze warnings that have been issued throughout the Bay Area, and we will be sure to update everyone on our progress. In the meantime help us reach our new stretch goal of $4000 in the last 2 days by continuing to share and or donate. Every bit helps stand in solidarity with the needs of our community and better ensure that all can be warm!
2/3's of the way there!!!
With Valentine's Day gone and past let us not forget to keep spreading the love and warmth everyday! A big thank you to the help of all our donors these past few weeks that has allowed us to be at 2/3 of the way to reaching our goal. As we enter the last few days of our campaign we ask that you continue to help us with our mission by sharing our campaign with family and friends. Let us strive for everyone to be warm this season! (Featured below some of our new volunteers at General Clinic)
A Quarter of the way there!
We are over a quarter of the way to reaching our goal and we just want to take the opportunity to thank everyone that has helped us with our mission! We are currently in the process of working with a task force so that the supplies can begin to be distributed to our clients with the utmost urgency. Please help us continue with our mission by sharing our campaingn link with friends and family and help ensure that everyone can stay warm this season!
