For the month of FEBruary, the 23-24 team has been campaigning to raise funds to support our financial needs as we continue to push the boundaries of innovative engineering design. The money raised from this campaign will go towards funding our inaugural aerodynamics package, which will help us reduce lap times by 4-5 seconds. 

Thanks to all of our supporters we've reached our initial goal of $5,000 and are hoping to keep the momentum going with a new stretch goal of $8,000! The additional funding will allow us to provide our engineers with essential personal protective equipment that ensures their safety and well-being while conducting club activities.

Hello all! Again, giving many thanks to the donors for Fall 2020 Crowdfunding, Formula Electric at Berkeley would like to share some updates on our work!

• First of all, we have finally FINISHED the design and have the final render of the car! It incorporates all the hard work of the team through the year.
• We have decided that FEB will not be competing this summer for 2021 competition as we won’t be able to build the physical model due to the school’s restriction on the pandemic. However, we are competing in the virtual Knowledge Events.
• As mentioned above, with our rendering being out finally, we are working on delivering the donor perks (posters, keychains, etc) that the donors have marked on receiving last semester.
• Finally, we will draw the 4 LUCKY DONORS who will have the chance to test drive our car as soon as we are open for in-person!

Although we did not reach our entire fundraising goal, this was an incredibly successful campaign that will help Formula Electric at Berkeley deliver an educational experience like no other to its members.
